Welcome to the Gemini Elysia web site.
If you are an artist, Gemini Elysia is a haven for photographers, painters, sculptors, and interactive/kinetic artists, both in real life and second life as well. We provide Galleries, Studios, Live-work Studios, and Dwellings. We also provide beautiful trails, views, vistas, a park, a canyon, and a beach for all to use freely. Artists who have studios on the island receive free shows at one of the galleries.
There are six spacious split-level artists studios. There are also nine Galleries on the Island: Vertex Gallery, the Spire Gallery, the Vertex Sculpture Park, the Vertex Plaza Gallery, the Vertex Cafe Gallery, the Megaprim Gallery, Subterranea, the Submerged Gallery, and the Observatory Gallery. We also have one beach devoted to large work, beneath the Observatory at the Landing Point, seen below. The Landing Point has Teleport Boards for each and every artist, gallery sight to see or property currently for sale on the island. The East end of the island is entirely devoted to Art Galleries and Art Studios.
Artists visiting the island are encouraged to join the Vertex Art Group. It provides free publicity for original art, original artists, and original artists events throughout Second Life, no matter where you reside. Once a member you may post notices and invite others to become members, who can do the same once they've joined.
